In a radical and innovative move to reach today’s mobile audience, housebuilder Bellway has launched its own iPhone app. The development is a ‘first’ for Bellway which has also recently launched a new website.

Commenting upon the development, Bellway Group Sales Director, Maria Seed, said: “We are in a very competitive market place where people are constantly on the move and are increasingly using their mobile phones to download information and search the web. We appreciate that our customers’ time is very precious so the more that we can do the make the most of that time by making it easier to identify the home of their dreams the better. Our iPhone and iPad app extends our online marketing activity making it more convenient for customers to search for a new Bellway home irrespective of where they are and provides immediate access to our website enabling them to make an appointment to view our properties instantly.

Owners of iPhones and iPads will now be able to download the Bellway app free off charge from the iTunes store and benefit from its versatility.

For Bellway this is the latest in a series of strategic internet based marketing developments which has included Bellway launching its new website. In developing the app, Bellway has worked closely with Newcastle based IT company, Perfect Imag.

“The internet is a crucial element to our marketing strategy, there are over 50 million users in the UK alone, some of those people will be deciding where their next home is going to be, and we need to be talking to them,” said Maria.
