At ISE2012, Sony Professional today reaffirmed its position at the heart of the AV solutions industry and demonstrated how it is shaping the future of AV.  Sony is showcasing a full line-up of specialist products, including the latest in digital signage, large format displays, home, education and business projectors.

With a range of AV solutions suited to all environments, including education, corporate, home and retail, Sony’s extensive line-up underlines its commitment to the display industry.  Its comprehensive product-range leads the way in display technology with Sony’s BrightEra transmissive projector LCD panel providing increased brightness and an optimised visual experience.  Sony’s Ziris Canvas offers amazing possibilities for playout, content authoring and management of multimedia presentations on the next generation of multiscreen feature walls.

Sony also unveiled the brand new 55-inch FWD-S55H2 large format display, which will be available from May 2012. Built for public display, the FWD-S55H2 has been designed to offer clearvisibility with 1000 cd/m2 brightness, while providing the stability and reliable operation in retail, leisure and corporate applications. It also provides economic power consumption for a more environmentally friendly performance by direct LED backlight.

Sony will also be exhibiting its first ultra-short throw VPL-SX535 and VPL-SW535, and strengthen new installation models VPL-CX235, VPL-CW255 and VPL-FH35 designed to improve ease of use and lower energy costs in the education and business sectors.

As well as showcasing the depth of its product range, Sony Professional will be outlining the future technologies that will define the next generation of display products. Building on its strong heritage in 4K and 3D solutions, including the launch last year of the VPL-VW1000ES 4K home cinema projector, Sony Professional will be unveiling some exciting display technologies over the coming year that are set to transform AV.
