Sonru for HR Tech Conference

Sonru for HR Tech Conference

The hugely successful US HR Tech Conference is coming to Europe to the Hotel Okura Amsterdam on 2-3 November 2011 with the promoters promising it will be “Game Changing!” adding that “HR Tech Europe 2011 is Europe’s most important event on how software, systems and collaborative tools are bringing about surmountable change in the way organisations work. Sonru have been shortlisted for an award.”

Sonru is one of four shortlisted companies for the iTalent Competition –  HR Tech Europe’s demo competition that puts emerging talent technology on stage. According to the promoters, the competition will give “HR leaders and executives a chance to see how start-ups are moving and shaking things up with new technology, new processes and new business models.” Sonru founder Ed Hendrick (@ehendrick) will be making the Sonru pitch.

Commenting on being shortlisted, Hendrick commented, “It’s an honour to be identified as one of a handful of hot technologies in the HR and recruitment space across Europe. We are delighted to be put in front of an audience of  industry veterans and to demonstrate how we have established the effectiveness and validity of using video in the recruitment process. Companies like Volvo, Johnson & Johnson, PaddyPower, BioWare (a Division of EA Games), Allianz Worldwide Care and CERN have innovated in their talent acquisition processes by using Sonru and we look forward to sharing our learnings and love of online video interviewing at HR Tech Europe 2011.”

Not only will Sonru have to impress that audience of industry veterans, competition host Jerome Ternynck, CEO of SmartRecruiters but also a formidable panel of judges that represent a microcosm of movers, shakers and influencers across Europe such as:
